What is the format for High School Ministry?
Students will join the adults for worship in the main sanctuary and will then meet in the Cafe . Students will be dismissed to the Cafe following worship. A message will be taught with a “roundtable-like” discussion. Students will not be singled-out at any time and messages will be fitting to both lifelong Christians and newcomers. Light snacks and refreshments will be available for free to the students during the service.
Do students need a Bible?
Students are strongly encouraged to have a Bible. Bible apps on mobile devices are welcome. In fact, Pastor Nick will usually be teaching from a mobile device, too! We can provide a Bible to students as well.
Do students need to check in?
Students may check themselves in at the kiosk located next to the Kids Ministry hallway. Entering their name will allow them to self-checkin. Parents do not need a tag.
Note: If the it is the student’s first time attending Alive, they should skip check-in and simply join the other High Schoolers when dismissed after worship. We will add them to the database during service for future check-ins.
Will there be any events available outside of Sundays?
Absolutely! We will be putting together other activities, special events, and outreach opportunities. Your patience is appreciated as we are currently in the planning phase for non-Sunday happenings.
